Tom Cruise allegedly pushed crews on his latest film, ”Digger”, through 19 hour workdays. Cruise plays aging oil tycoon Digger Rockwell in the movie, directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu. The first makeup application for Cruise’s character took six hours. He sometimes slept overnight in a trailer at the studio. Cruise challenged the makeup team to complete the full application in under an hour without reducing its quality. A source tells the website, “Tom’s stamina is extraordinary, but expecting everybody around him to operate at anything approaching that intensity can become exhausting.” The source added that Cruise’s standards and work ethic wore down crew members
