Tom Cruise’s chances of winning an Oscar for his new comedy “Digger” have allegedly dimmed after an early lukewarm response. The movie is tracking for a $15 million opening this weekend. Cruise plays a wealthy oil tycoon trying to repair an environmental catastrophe he caused. He has received four Oscar nominations. He received an honorary Oscar at the Governors Awards last November. A source tells the website, “This was supposed to be the moment when Tom finally converted decades of Hollywood goodwill into a competitive acting Oscar, but the feeling now is that it isn’t going to happen with Digger.”

| Riley Green serenaded an older fan with “You Look Like You Love Me” during his show in Mountain View, California. The elderly woman knew every word and mouthed “I do” after the final lyric. Green kissed her cheek. He also held a young fan in pink boots and a matching pacifier while singing “Dixieland Delight.” |
