Shania Twain and Martina McBride are going to guest star on Fox’s new country show ”Monarch”. The show debuts on September 11th and follows a family full of country music stars. Susan Sarandon and Trace Adkins are the leads.
“The Voice” returns on September 19th and Jimmie Allen is going to be on Blake Shelton’s team as a mentor. Here’s what Blake had to say about Jimmie…
“We’ve met on occasion at award shows or music industry events, but literally nothing more than, hey, how you doing? Good to meet you type moments, you know, but I’ve watched him, I’ve watched his career develop. I’ve seen him on all the award shows and stuff and he’s just an incredible performer and he’s so focused on what he does and he’s clearly just a huge fan of music.”
Thomas Rhett wrote his first song with his father, Rhett Akins. Thomas was six years old and it was called ‘A Piece of Wood,’ and it was about building a guitar. That song has never been recorded. His dad still has the little tape of them singing that song together in the kitchen.
