But first, Mother’s Day is Sunday and Cole Swindell tells us what he learned from his mama. “My mama always taught me to be respectful and treat people the way you want to be treated,” he says.  “So, I’d have to say that the best qualities passed on to me.”

Cole has an extra-special gift for mom this year: TWO ACM Awards!  He won Song AND Single of the Year for “She Had Me at Heads Carolina.”  He performed his big winner with Jo Dee Messina last night, too!

Another fun collab was performed by Luke Combs and Ed Sheeran who sang “Life Goes On,” and Dolly Parton paid tribute to the late Loretta Lynn and Naomi Judd.  She sang an acapella rendition of “Precious Memories” in addition to hosting the show with Garth Brooks.

Duo of the Year went to Brothers OsborneOld Dominion won Group.  Morgan Wallen won Male Artist of the Year.  Lainey Wilson was the big winner with Album of the Year, Female Artist, and Music Event with Hardy for “Wait in the Truck.”

And the coveted Entertainer of the Year?  Congrats to Chris Stapleton!
