The ACM’s New Female Artist winner Lainey Wilson just found out she’ll be opening select dates for Luke Combs “The Middle of Somewhere” Tour. As she plays bigger stages, is she ready to get the party started? Lainey says, “I have an alter-ego, I don’t know what you would call it, but my party-side comes out. Of course, I can slow it down, I can do the heartfelt thing, but at the end of the day, everybody is there to get their party on.”
This Sunday is Mother’s Day. Thomas Rhett shares with us how his mother inspired him to be a musician:
“Mom‘s dad was a very musical person. Lead worship in church, taught me some things on the guitar. I still have a guitar today that he handed me down actually. And they both were encouraging. My mom was a little bit more hesitant, just knowing how often my dad was gone on the road. Wasn’t sure if she wanted that lifestyle for me but was always so encouraging, and still to this day is my number one fan.”
The crowd got so loud at Garth Brooks’ concert in Baton Rouge last Saturday that it caused an earthquake. A seismograph on the LSU campus recorded the quake at 9:20 P.M.
