Chris Stapleton says that his work ethic comes from his father, and that he’s not sure that it’s altogether healthy. Chris’ dad was a coal miner and worked long hours his whole life and died very young. He says that he’s certainly not trying to do that.
Scotty McCreery says that messages from his family keep him sane while he’s working. He and his family reside in NC, but he comes to Nashville to record and loves FaceTiming Gabi and Avery. Gabi also sends him lots of videos of the cute things Avery does.
Jackson Dean says his brother’s job is what inspired him to start writing music. He wrote a song about him when he was 14 after receiving a letter from him while he was out at seas in the Gulf somewhere near the British Virgin Islands. His brother raced boats and was the inspiration behind not one, but two of Jackson’s songs.
This kept him out of trouble… Riley Green says that sports kept him out of trouble.
