This is deeply personal for him . . .

Keith Urban says that one of the things he comments on fairly regularly, especially when he’s playing outdoor festivals, is that it’s amazing to have the freedom to be able to do what he does.  He says there are a lot of people who are devoting their lives to protecting, defending, and honoring their own calling.  He is immensely grateful for all of the men and women in the military around the world, and their families.

Brantley Gilbert has great respect for the military.  He says the hardest part of his own job is being away from home, so he knows how hard it is for the men and women who are away from their families keeping us safe.  Brantley is a big supporter of Folds of Honor and even was the grand marshal at last year’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 in Atlanta.

Eric Church says that he doesn’t think he’ll have any American argue that America isn’t the best place to live.  He’s grateful to live in a country where he can make the music he wants to make and say what he wants to say.  He knows that it’s our men and women in the military who keep fighting for those freedoms we all have.

This is deeply personal for him . . . Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley tells us why playing for our military is deeply personal for him.  “For those of you that don’t know, my grandfather was a P.O.W. and two-time Purple Heart recipient.  My uncle and cousin both served overseas,” he tells us.  “The opportunity to perform for our troops is deeply personal for me.”
