Jason Aldean will be the featured artist in the season two premiere of CMT Campfire Sessions. He’ll perform a stripped-down version of “Trouble with a Heartbreak” and other hits on the 15th.

Luke Bryan says he picked up on a throwback vibe when he listened to the demo for “Country On.” “When I heard the song, it made me think of a modern-day ’40 Hour Week’ by Alabama,” he tells us. “It really just brought out that emotion of hey, let’s look at putting this out on Fourth of July weekend, it feels like a song everybody can rally around and really enjoy listening to.”
This duo is getting back together… Reba and her co-star from her show, Melissa Peterman, who played Barbara Jean. The two will star in the new Lifetime movie The Hammer, which is inspired by the true story of Judge Kim Wheeler.
