LanCo will be playing Ascend Amphitheatre at CMA Fest this Friday and K-Country Listener Dorine Fugere of Inverness will be there with her best friend. Hopefully, it won’t be a repeat of last Friday’s fiasco in Virginia when a tanker truck hit two utility poles knocking out the power to their show.
Jason Aldean says that his kids are starting to figure out that their daddy isn’t quite like other daddies. They don’t have it completely figured out yet, but they’re starting to realize that their daddy is famous.
Dierks Bentley and Elle King are getting ready for CMA Fest this week where they’ll host a three-hour special on WCJB-TV20 on August 3rd. The CMA Fest special is something pretty big for them both. “I’m excited,” Dierks tells us. “It’s fun because A – we’re together, friends, get a chance to hand out for four days together, but it’s gonna be huge for Nashville. This is the first time in three years, I guess, since they’ve had the big downtown CMA Fest.” Elle agrees, “Yeah, and the only other experience I’ve had with it is coming up there and singing with you so…” “Yeah,” he finishes for her. “I’m excited to do that again,” Elle says. “Well, we should do that again for sure,” says Dierks. “Yeah,” Elle tells him.
This caused him more stress than playing a stadium… performing on American Idol! Scotty McCreery says his time performing on the show when he was just 17 years old was pressure-packed, but so much fun!
