Michael Ray says he purchased his first CD on a school bus. He wanted a Kid Rock CD when he was a kid, but his parents wouldn’t get it for him. He bought it from a buddy for $2.
Jon Pardi says he owes his career to Randy Travis. He says he grew up listening to Randy and his Grandma loved him. He says he doesn’t think he’d be where he is today without his music. Randy is celebrating the 35th anniversary of his first album.
Dustin Lynch says that he loves going out to his farm to recharge. He says it helps him to be a better man, a better entertainer, a better songwriter, and a better leader and boss.
This artist says things are moving fast… Jason Aldean says that his duet with Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You,” surprised him. “You know, I think to date, this is probably my fasting moving song of my career,” he tells us. I think before this it was ‘Burnin’ it Down,’ which was maybe 14 weeks or some, and I think we’re sitting here now at 11 weeks and this song is knocking on the door at number one, so it’s been a really special one. These don’t come along very often.
