The big winner at last night’s CMAs was Chris Stapleton. Chris won SIX awards including Male Vocalist, Album, Song, and Single of the Year.
Carly Pearce was stunned to win her first Female Vocalist of the Year award, while Jimmie Allen cried during his acceptance speech for New Artist.
Brothers Osborne nabbed the trophy for Vocal Duo for the fourth time. Old Dominion picked up the trophy for Vocal Group.
Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney took home two trophies last night. The awards were Kelsea’s first, and she was pretty emotional when she found out. “Just found out we won two CMA Awards this morning, and I’ve never won a CMA award before,” she said through tears. “We just won for musical event of the year and Music Video of the Year for ‘Half of My Hometown.’ I’m so happy!”
This artist said that being nominated at the CMAs was an honor… Luke Combs! And then he WON Entertainer of the Year last night.
