Jelly Roll has been recommended for a pardon by the Tennessee Board of Parole. Sheriff Daron Hall made the request to Governor Bill Lee, who will make the final decision. Lee says there are still steps to be taken in Jelly Roll’s case before a final decision is made. Jelly Roll says, “I want to be an inspiration for people who are now where I used to be – to let them know that change is truly possible.”
