Jordan Davis says that an injury from playing golf made him rethink his fitness routine. “My daughter was two. She’s six now, and I was playing golf and started having a disc issue. I tried to play through it, but ended up really aggravating it. I was out for a month, took some time off, went back, played some golf, hurt it again. I was like, man, it would break my heart if my kids got into golf and were like, ‘Dad, let’s go play a round of golf,’ and I’m not able to do that because I didn’t take care of myself. I made the shift. … I’m going to start doing whatever I have to do to allow me to be as mobile, athletic, and be able to keep up with my kids as long as I can. So, that one injury from golf was what really switched things. I got to take this seriously so that I can play sports with them when I’m 50.”
