Speedy recovery wishes are going out to Luke Bryan’s wife, Caroline. She had unexpected hip surgery. No pranks from her for a while, I’m sure.
Garth announced he’ll be doing a Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace in May, June, July, November, and December of next year.
Thomas Rhett tells us how his latest single, “Half of Me,” came about. “I remember being on the road with my dad, Josh Thompson, and Will Bundy,” he says. “It was right after we had written the song called ‘To the Guys that Date My Girls,’ and we were debating, do we want to go get lunch? I remember Josh walking off the bus. I was like, ‘Man, I might get a quick workout in if you want to work out with me.’ And Josh was like, ‘Man, half of me wants to drink a cold beer and so does the other half.’ I remember it was like, ‘We have to go write that right now.’ So, we went on the bus, and we literally sat there for 35 minutes, and this song just fell out.”
They prepared their dog for their new baby… Scotty McCreery said that he and his wife, Gabi, prepared their dog for the arrival of their son, Avery, by reading a book to him called What to Expect When Your Humans are Expecting.
