It wouldn’t be surprising to hear that a country singer’s horses won a prize at a state fair . . . but you might not expect it from someone as big (and “mature”) as 40-year-old Miranda Lambert. Earlier this month, Miranda took a break to travel to the Oklahoma State Fair to show her horses. She talked about it on social media, and posted a round-up of photos. And the horses apparently did well, taking home a BLUE RIBBON. Miranda said, quote, “Horses are my happy place. [And] what better way to celebrate ‘Postcards from Texas’ than doing something country AND western.”
Luke Bryan talks about Carrie Underwood joining American Idol:
Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan did a pretty good job hosting the CMA Awards for the last two years. But it seems like the producers of the show wanted to shake things up a little bit. So, why not throw Lainey Wilson into the mix, so there are three co-hosts. Because, let’s be real, no one is hotter in Country music right now than Lainey. And maybe we’ll get to see Luke or Peyton in some bell-bottoms? Either way, Lainey is sure to bring some solid energy to this hosting gig. And, she might even go home with the Entertainer of the Year award as well.
