Luke Bryan had his voice back for his Crash My Playa destination concert event in Mexico. He even brought his wife, Caroline, on stage and had the crowd sing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” to her.
Blake Shelton says he’s been slowly introducing his stepsons to country music. He says that Gwen Stefani jokes that he’s “polluting the kids’ minds with his awful music,” but they listen to a lot of country music now.
Jimmie Allen talks about his hit duet “Freedom Was a Highway” with Brad Paisley. “To have a hit, for sure, with someone as old as Brad Paisley, he’s been making hits since they built the Titanic, you know what I mean?” Jimmie jokes. “So, shoutout to him, Rose and Jack, for sure. Oh, he’s gonna love this. Brad is, like, one of the biggest trash-talkers ever.”
The Tunies mean more to this guy than the Grammys… Chris Stapleton says that all awards mean a lot to him, but the Tunies, which are based on plays on the Waffle House jukebox, mean even more because those are the real people voting for him.
