Someone used to work for NASCAR…

Have you seen the video for Dierks Bentley’s hit song “Gone”? Dierks shares that it was actually made last year during the quarantine and COVID.  “Making the video for ‘Gone’ was so much fun, even more so considering that we’d all been in the middle of COVID and there was kind of a lockdown and I hadn’t seen a lot of my Nashville friends,” Dierks says.  “So, we all got together in Nashville. We were all wearing masks, the face shields and the hand sanitizer and somehow managed to pull this thing off. Big credit to Wes Edwards and Ed Pryor and everyone who helped make this video.” 

Luke Combs tells People magazine that he hated school. He said it was a thing he honestly struggled with for a long time because he *did* want to graduate.  He just didn’t think he was committed enough.  

Someone used to work for NASCAR… Chase Rice used to work as a member of Jimmie Johnson’s NASCAR pit crew.  Chase said it was a great opportunity, but he was miserable because he just wanted to write songs.   

Quick reminder that Alan Jackson’s “Where I Come From” Tornado Benefit Concert will be streaming tomorrow on his Facebook page.  He’s raising funds for his hometown of Newnan, Georgia, which was hit hard by spring tornadoes.
