Miranda Lambert says she’s been taking more time to tour the cities she’s in while she’s on the road. She and her husband, Brendan, spent St. Patrick’s Day touring Dublin, and recently check out Niagara Falls on both the Canadian side and the New York side.
Garth Brooks says if he does another tour, it’ll be a dive bar tour. He says they’re the most fun… and then he said to line up 75 of them and let’s go. So… that may be a glimpse of what’s to come.
Jackson Dean has a creative non-musical hobby. “I mean, I grew up making stuff and working with my hands, and I don’t want to lose that,” he tells us. “Mostly, I make knives actually out of deer antler handles and cold-rolled steel and make them usually around Christmas. I’ll do that. I’ve made a couple of pallet couches, all sorts of stuff, really.”
Someone once told her not to look so cheap… Dolly Parton says when she was first starting out in country music, she modeled herself after the town tramp. The main advice people gave her was change her look and not look so cheap or nobody would take her seriously. Guess the joke’s on them, right?
