Rubbin Elbows-Santa Claus

93.7 K COUNTRY

When I was a small boy pre kindergarten age in my Hometown of Williston my Mom would always make sure that Santa Claus always got me a number of gifts. Usually the coolest ones were from “Santa”. A cowboy suit one year. A BB Gun the next. And I would always leave milk and cookies for him on the dining room table and in the morning they would be eaten and the milk drank and a note from Santa saying “Thank you Lewis! Love, Santa”. As I got older the gifts from Santa would be less and less but as long as my Mother was alive I always got at least one from him. I guess my Mom and Santa had a special connection going on! As an adult I finally got to meet Santa, sit down with him and let him know how much all the gifts meant to me and how I still believe in him. Here’s to all the big kids like me that still believe in jolly St Nick and still hope when they look under their tree for that gift from Santa Clause.  Merry Christmas to you all!
