“They call me Tater Salad!” That is Blue Collar Comedy Tour Veteran signature comedy routine. He is also known for having a cigar, a glass of scotch and a wooden stool on stage during his routine. I got to interview him before a show he did at the University Of Florida auditorium and I was trying to come up with a question no one had asked him before. So I asked him….”When you are on the road do you have a prop stool that you bring with you or does the venue provide the stool?” He laughed and said no one had asked him that before! (The venue provides the wooden stool) A couple of years later I got invited to a party at John Rich from Big & Rich at his mansion called “Mount Richmore”. It was on the highest point in Nashville. When I went in John had a entire room filled with White Castle burgers to eat and of course there were many bars inside. The house band playing in the living room was The Bellamy Brothers! It was surreal. Well it was packed in the living room and I tried to move a lil closer to the front to see Howard and David and I noticed right beside me was RON WHITE! I told him who I was and he remembered the interview question I asked him and that bonded us as drinking buddies that night! We did shots together at the bar and then I thought…No one is going to believe this if I don’t take a selfie real quick. I asked Ron if he’d take a picture with me and he said of course. Well my phone battery was on 3% and almost dead. The flash wouldnt even turn on. So I held my breath and took the picture and immediately the phone died. I didn’t know if I got the picture or not until I got back to my hotel room at like 5am in the morning. Here is the picture!
