Rubbin’ Elbows-Randy Houser

93.7 K COUNTRY

Shawn Randolph Houser is a native of Lake, Mississippi. He debuted in 2008 with the song “Anything Goes” which was a top 20 hit, He then had a top 5 with “Boots On” with a real popular video to go with it. He did our first “New Faces” Acoustic Concert at the Ocala Civic Theatre and was well received by the audience for his smooth voice and great stories. In 2012 he had his first # 1 “How Country Feels” and another # 1 in 2013 with “Runnin’ Out Of Moonlight”. Two more big hits followed with “Goodnight Kiss” and “Like A Cowboy”. In 2016 he had another hit song called “We Went”. One of my favorite Randy Houser moments was in Nashville at the Country Radio Seminar at the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Randy did a song called “Back To God” which was also recorded by Reba McEntire. It brought the house down with thunderous applause.  I hope if we ever get Randy back for another acoustic concert  that he will do that one. I am sure gonna ask him to. He is getting ready to kick off a tour this month (March) with Jamey Johnson and has new single coming to radio soon on his new record company “Magnolia Music Group”.
