“Not so fast my friend!” Anyone who has ever watched Lee Corso on ESPN’s College Game Day has heard him say this as he gives his predictions for the college football games that day. I was in Orlando at Hard Rock Live! for a All-Star concert with many singers from Thompson Square to Darryl Worley. I was backstage with my best friend who worked for Darryl Worley’s record company and Darryl and Chris Cagle were arguing backstage about what the closing song would be for the big guitar pull at the end. It almost came to blows with me right in the middle. They ended their argument with Darryl almost refusing to go out. When it was time for Darryl’s set I bumped into Mr. Corso in the hallway and he graciously took this picture with me. Turns out he is a huge country music fan like Dick Vitale and we went and sat together on the side stage. Lee sang to every Darryl Worley song and was so thrilled to be there. It was so neat seeing a major sports figure like that loving our Country music so much!
