Rubbin Elbows-Jerrod Niemann

93.7 K COUNTRY

By far one of the most fun people in county music to be around is this guy Jerrod Niemann, Kansas native Niemann was influenced Lefty Frizzell Keith Whitley and George Strait. He has had two # 1 songs “Lover, Love” and “Drink To That All Night” and in 2017he released “God Made A Woman”. I mention this because I was DJ-ing a wedding at Santa Fe River Ranch in Alachua and the bride contacted Jerrod to sing that song as the bride and groom’s first dance song and he said yes! He showed up, did the song with me helping on the sound and then he stayed for the rest of the reception drinking and having fun with the guests! He even did a drinking trick where he drank an entire pitcher of beer in one gulp! I witnessed this and it was amazing! A few months later he was at one of our acoustic concerts at the Ocala Civic Theatre  (Pictured here) and after the concert he went with me to Charlie Horse Saloon in Ocala and hung out and took pictures with his fans that were there and just had a good time! He is for sure one of the most fun, laid back country singers  I have met in my career.
