93.7 K COUNTRY

If you listen on Sunday Morning or Evening on 93.7 K-COUNTRY for years it was Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40. Bob had such a warm comforting voice for 40 years and was a radio legend. When he passed away from cancer there were many fill in hosts including Garth Brooks. The guy that picked to do the legends show was radio announcer Fitz. He was hosting a morning show in Seattle.  A few weeks after the announcement I was at a seminar in Nashville and this very tall dude came in and sat beside me. We struck up a conversation and found out he would be the new host of the show. After the seminar we were in he asked me to follow him to his room. He was stopped by so many people along the way. When we got to the room he gave me a ton of CT 40 Items. Hat’s, sweater caps, t shirts, mugs you name it. He was so kind and I knew then that Bob Kingsley’s legacy was in good hands. Fitz had this to say about hosting CT 40 Sunday 7am to 11am and Sunday 7pm to 11pm. “I’m truly excited to focus my attention on continuing the tradition of CT40 and bringing it into the next decade with fun, captivating new features, emotion, and remembering the stars of yesterday, while introducing the country stars of tomorrow ” Thank you for the cool stuff Fitz!
