I grew up watching NWA wrestling on TV out of Tampa. Gordon Solie was the announcer and my childhood wrestling hero was The American Dream Dusty Rhodes! My childhood buddies and I knew all his signature moves like the Atomic Elbow which we hurt each other with many times. I got to meet my idol in Gainesville for a wrestling event and got my picture with him. I was truly in awe of him. He died not too many years later.
