It’s pretty cool when a former rock superstar and now country singer stops by your radio station to perform a few songs for us off his new country album. Darius Rucker decided to come out with a country album and he wanted to visit country radio stations to let us know he was legit and serious about being in country music. We couldn’t believe it when he showed up at our studios! It was 2008. He has gone on to have many # 1 country songs and country music awards including the CMA New Artist Of The Year in 2009!
