George Strait was recently performing in Las Vegas when he gave a mortgage-free house to a military family. US Army Sergeant Mike Hulsey received the home from the Military Warriors Support Foundation. Mike was shot in the leg and wounded three different times with an IED. He is a Purple Heart recipient. We’ll find out who is going to be the grand prize winner of the “Dream Concert Trip of a Lifetime” to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in our 9 o’clock hour this morning.
Jackson Dean says he wants to spend Christmas with his extended family…
“My sister had a kid, my brother had a kid, and there’s about 11 of us in the immediate family now. And I’ve been gone for a while man, I have not been present. I’ve been out doin’ my thing and I don’t get to see ‘em too often, so , I’m gonna just go home and be present. And I’m excited this year to like see Ophelia and Tom, my niece and nephew, gettin’ and rippin’ open presents, cause they’re knee-high to a stump right now. And probably gettin’ to see that will be a gift enough for me.”
