Jelly Roll says that he wants his music to help people because the fans are the most important thing in the world for him. He says he makes music with the intention of helping someone or speaking to someone.
Luke Bryan says he’s a country boy through and through and he doesn’t like when people try to fake being from the country. He says that if you sing about hunting and fishing and drinking and trucks and he gets you on his farm, he can tell in one minute if you’re not legit.
Almost everyone has had a setback and has been unemployed, and Brantley Gilbert knows how that feels. “You know, all of us at the end of the day want to – if folks are anything like me, I want to be able to do my job. I want to feel like I’m earning what I’ve got,” he says. “And I think we all need, or could use, a little encouragement and healing, and as a songwriter, I try to say most of what I say through my music.”
His wife has a different name in his phone… Blake Shelton says he still has his wife, Gwen Stefani, listed in his phone as “My Girlfriend.” He may need to get around to changing that since they’ve been married a year now.
