Chris Janson and Travis Tritt have added some more dates to their tour. They’re already scheduled for the Ruth Eckerd in Clearwater on October 27th, Hertz Arena in Estero on the 28th, and the Pompano Beach Amp on the 29th, but then they’ll circle back to Florida for a show at the Pensacola Bay Center on November 18th. They sure like us here in the F-L-A!
So, how did Jackson Dean feel when he found out his debut single “Don’t Come Lookin’” was featured in the Season 4 Episode 7 of Yellowstone? “When my agent in LA told me they got ‘Don’t Come Lookin’’ in Yellowstone, I about fell down,” he tells us. “It was really awesome. Kevin Costner! Like, Dances with Wolves, man! Like, that’s sweet! And Kevin Costner was on a horse in the video, man, like, come on!”
Scotty McCreery, like any father-to-be, has big plans for his son, but he will not force him o be a musician. He says that he and Gabi will get him instruments, but whether or not he plays them is up to him.
His mom was Florida Watermelon Queen… Jake Owen! His mom grew up in Haines City – blink your eye and you’ll miss it driving through Polk County – where her dad ran a citrus business. Mitzi was Watermelon Queen in 1972 and was the first National Watermelon Queen in 1973.
