Lauren Alaina will return to American Idol as a mentor this Monday. She wouldn’t be where she is today without the help of the original Idol where she came in second to Scotty McCreery nearly a decade ago.
Dierks Bentley says the first show he was allowed to do after lockdown was magical. Everyone in the crowd was all-in, and it just added to that amazing feeling that he already gets when he’s performing because it was such a celebration of moving forward.

He’s trying for Dad of the Year… Thomas Rhett volunteered to give his wife, Lauren, a moment of peace and took all four of their girls out by himself. “Yeah, I took all four to Chick-fil-A the other day. It was absolute chaos, but it is fun,” he tells us. “I like for my kids to look at me and trust me and be like, ‘Oh, he can do this,’ because I think kids can tell when you feel like you can’t do something, so having the confidence to be able to take them to the mall or take them out to eat or whatever is always really fun for me to get to do, but also like an act of God.”
