Sam Hunt says the beach inspired his song “23.” He said it was easier to tap into that nostalgia of thinking back to trips from when he was younger. It took about two hours to write, which he says is pretty rare for him.
Darius Rucker is making good on a promise. He said he’d play a free show at University of South Carolina if the women’s basketball team won the National Championship. Well, they did, and he is.
No more kids for the Aldeans. Jason says his wife, Brittany, would probably go one more time, but he says that they’ve got a boy and they’ve got a girl, so he’s good. Jason also has two older daughters from his previous marriage.
He’s secretly Clark Griswold… Tim McGraw says he loves taking his family on road trips like Clark Griswold from National Lampoon’s Vacation. He’s got a 15-year-old Cadillac Escalade that he loves and he says it’s like his Griswold family cruiser. He’ll take the fam on the southern route and go to LA and then go up to Northern California and then take the northern route back. He says Faith and the girls have really enjoyed it.
