Cole Swindell wasn’t very good when it came to school. He was an all-state football player in high school, and that was his priority. He says he only got passing grades so he could play football and eventually go to Georgia Southern and play there.
Frank Ray compares playing the Grand Ole Opry to sitting at the “cool kids’ table” in school. He says it’s the pinnacle of any country artist’s career to be able to step into that circle where so many iconic artists have played, and now that it’s happened, it’s incredible.
Luke Bryan says to expect some “crazy shenanigans” when he and Peyton Manning host the CMAs on WCJB-TV November 9th. Luke says he and Peyton are good friends and Peyton is a huge country music fan and supporter. He adds that it’s best not to let Peyton sing around the campfire, though. It’s not a good thing.
He’s happy college football is back… UF grad Easton Corbin tells us that he’s always watching the games, even on the road. “That’s all that’s on the bus on the weekends. That’s it,” he says. “We’ve got three TVs on the bus, so that’s all that’s on.”
