Our big winner at the Grammy Awards last night was Chris Stapleton who took home Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Country Album. Brothers Osborne won for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Jason Aldean opted out, as well as Miranda Lambert who is in the middle of prepping for her tour.
Eric Church is doing right by his San Antonio fans. After cancelling his concert and refunding their money so he could watch his Tarheels play Duke with his family, he promised a special concert for those ticketholders only. It will be September 1st in New Braunfels and it will be FREE.
Carly Pearce has some advice for aspiring young female artists: “My advice to little girls wanting to get into music is to just make sure that you figure out who you are and do it on purpose, which is what Dolly, I feel like says all the time,” she says. “And never change who you are, try to make yourself unique, and outwork the boys.”
