Some of our favorite artists have shared their hangover cures with us recently, including Jon Pardi’s Bloody Mary remedy, and Eric Church’s pounding of the Five Hour Energy drinks. Dierks Bentley, however, is keeping it real. Dierks says there is no cure, and that New Year’s Day is just a universally accepted day off where he drinks water and stays on the couch.
Justin Moore tells us how he celebrates New Year’s Eve; “My favorite kind of New Year’s has changed over the years. Back in the day, we stayed out and turned it up pretty loud and stayed out late and did all that,” he tells us. “Nowadays with kids it’s hard to even make it to midnight, so it’s changed over the years, but it’s changed for the better.”
He was able to connect with his hero… Hall of Fame coach and commentator John Madden has passed away and Kenny Chesney had the honor of meeting him during the making of his documentary, The Boys of Fall. Kenny says that sitting down across from John Madden and hear what he had to say about life was one of the biggest highlights of his life. He says that he never thought he’d meet him, much less eat dinner at his house and interview him about football for a couple of hours. Kenny calls that time with John “incredibly special.”
