Miranda Lambert says she had a few unexpected bonding moments with her mom, Beverly. Beverly just won her battle with breast cancer, and Miranda says that she had some special moments while rubbing her mom’s bald head with essential oils that brought them closer.
Independence Day is this Monday and Jordan Davis says that he had a great time as a kid in Louisiana going to baseball games and then the fireworks shows after when he was a kid. They’d go to Shreveport Captains games. He also remembers taking the boat out on the lake to watch the downtown fireworks from the water.
Darius Rucker is a big fan of fireworks from way back. “Oh, I love them. I mean, we had bottle rocket fights and all that stuff. I was the typical little crazy kid, you know. In South Carolina it was always legal. So, fireworks were always legal so, you know, we did all that stuff,” he tells us. “I almost blew my hand off once. Crazy!”
He wants to get healthy for his son… Luke Combs says that he’s had a lifelong struggle with his weight, but now that his son, Tex, is here, he wants to be around for him. He admits that he’s been uncomfortable with his body a long time, but his unhealthy relationship with food has made it tough to get in shape.
