Martina McBride will be joining The Judds on their final tour and says that it is an honor that Wynonna and Naomi personally asked her to be part of it. The closest they’re coming to Florida is Duluth, GA on October 14th, but if you’re a fan it’s sure to be worth the drive.
Luke Combs has a new studio album coming out on June 24th. You can pre-order it now at his website. He’s not telling us the title yet… kind of like he’s not telling us the name he and Nicole picked for Baby Boy Combs who arrives this Spring.
Jamey Johnson was asked to join the Grand Ole Opry last month by Whisperin’ Bill Anderson. Jamey’s induction ceremony will be May 14th.
He tested himself… Dierks Bentley completed the Century Ride last month where he accomplished a 100-mile bike ride in Nashville. He tells us about the endurance of putting his foot to the pedal. “First off, it was 110 ‘cause I got lost,” he tells us. “It was a ride here in Nashville, in Hickman County. You know gravel the size of grapefruits with sharp points on it… I was, I was doing great until I got a flat tire at mile 50 and then it became a much different race.”
