Ernest and Jackson Dean are among the 2023 Hot Country Artists to Watch on Spotify. Jackson will be out with Blake Shelton at the Amway Center in Orlando on March 4th while Ernest is on the road with Morgan Wallen.
Chris Young’s new single is personal. It’s called “All Dogs Go to Heaven” and he posted a picture of himself holding his German Shepherd, Porter, to celebrate.
Dierks Bentley has a new album coming out on February 24th. Gravel & Gold will have 14 tracks and will be his 10th studio album.
He tells us how he crossed over to country… Jelly Roll tells us the reason he thinks country fans allowed him to cross over from rap. “I think they felt a real authenticity from it. I think people knew it wasn’t a cash-grab,” he tells us. “Traditionally, it’s old rock dudes and their band broke up and they’re like, ‘Alright, let me come do this,’ but for me they were like, ‘This is a homegrown story, this is a homegrown kid.’ I think it was like, ‘I think he deserves to tell his story.’”
