Lainey Wilson may be all about “Watermelon Moonshine” these days, but when she was a kid, she wrote songs about tequila and cigarettes. She didn’t actually smoke or drink, but she listened to a lot of adult conversations and watched a lot of television. She didn’t start writing love songs until she was in her 20s.
Jon Pardi is the first native Californian invited to join the Grand Ole Opry. His buddy, chef Guy Fieri, invited him. The date has now been set and Jon will officially be inducted on October 24th.
Ashley McBryde has always been into music. She was actually studying to be a band director at Arkansas State university where she played the French Horn in the marching band.
