The “58th Academy of Country Music Awards” nominees for “Entertainer of the Year” were announced yesterday. They are: Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and Morgan Wallen. The awards show takes place on May 11th exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Joe Nichols loves getting feedback from his fans because they’re the ones he’s trying to please. Joe says the most valuable comment he’s ever gotten was when he was told that his songs sound like him being him which is a consistent thing he’s done over the last 20 years.
Here’s Cody Johnson telling us about how his daughters love John Wayne:
“I don’t let my girls watch a lot T.V. that has commercials. So a good way to get around that, where you can watch tv… besides cartoons… that dad can actually stand… is throw on any John Wayne movie and my kids, my two little girls love watching John Wayne, their favorite one is Mclintock. And I think that is awesome.”
He doesn’t even eat sushi…
Shane Profitt met his hero, Chris Janson, at a sushi restaurant. Shane was on a first date with a girl he’s never been out with. They went out to dinner, and Chris Janson held the door for him at that sushi restaurant, which is odd because Shane said, “I don’t even eat sushi!”
