Little Big Town will perform the National Anthem before Saturday’s NFL playoff game between Tennessee and Cincinnati. Jimmie Allen will perform at halftime.
Cody Johnson admits he once asked wedding guests not to film him dancing. He says he was tearing it up on the dance floor and thought he was looking good like Michael Jackson or James Brown… until he fell on his face. He begged everyone not to post his epic fail online.
Thomas Rhett says that he’s got lots of help with the new baby from his older daughters. “They beg to hold Lillie. Every day. Sometimes you don’t have to rely on a grandmother. I could literally put Lillie in Willa Gray’s arm and be like, ‘are you good for five minutes?’ And she’ll be like, ‘yeah, I’m good.’ She’ll feed her a bottle. Etta James can hold her,” he tells us. “Lennon is still a bit jealous, and I would say that is the hardest part, is that she’s not the baby anymore, but, man, I love it.”
He admits he rips off the greats when he writes his songs … Brad Paisley! He says that he tries to write like some of the writers he admires by “ripping off” their form. He says it comes from George Strait and Merle Haggard albums, and country music in general.
