Lauren Alaina is celebrating her new record deal. She just signed with Big Loud Records. She says that the label’s name matches her personality, and she’s in good company with Jake Owen, Hardy, Chris Lane, and Morgan Wallen as her labelmates.
Maren Morris brings her adorable son, Hayes, on the road with her. She tries to make sure he’s napping when she has to leave him to go perform, but sometimes she has to walk away while he’s reaching for her and screaming, and it breaks her heart. She wishes she could do her shows while holding him.
Dan + Shay have had a great time opening for Kenny Chesney on his Here and Now tour. Shay tells us that every weekend is a chance to learn from him. “On stage he’s such a great performer. Just watching him, how he interacts with the crowd and really reaches to the very back top, you know, person at the very end of the stadium,” he says. “And it’s just an incredible thing to watch and we’ve definitely learned a lot from him.”
Even our favorite stars are giddy fans… Jake Owen says he recently freaked out after receiving a handwritten note from Ronnie Dunn! He says Ronnie is one of his country music heroes and he’s still a giddy fan.
