Last week, three Alachua County Public School crosswalks received Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) to improve safety for students crossing the street.

ACSO has arrested and charged a 13-year-old female student from KMS in connection with the bomb threats. According to the state Department of Education, bomb threats are felony offenses and require expulsion for at least one year and referral for prosecution.
