OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A vehicle collision on E. Silver Springs Blvd. led to a traffic fatality Sept. 24. 2025.
The roads have reopened.
A Ford vehicle traveling eastbound on E. Silver Springs Blvd. veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Dodge Ram truck. The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to the hospital with potential serious injuries, according to the Ocala Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
All westbound lanes on E. Silver Springs Blvd. at the intersection of NE 25th Ave. remain closed. Traffic delays are expected.
