GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – The University of Florida Police Department (UFPD) reported gunfire at 1800 W. University Ave. early Sunday morning. They say that at least two suspects fled onto campus. One suspect was detained, while another was said to possibly be armed and running in an unknown direction.
UFPD later reported that both suspects involved in the shooting incident were in custody. They had entered the Murphree Commons area on campus. The police say they cleared the scene.
