United States Marshals Service arrests man wanted in Citrus County on multiple charges

CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The United States Marshals Service (USMS) arrested a man who was wanted on multiple charges, including battery on a person 65 or older in Citrus County.

In a Facebook post, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) announced that earlier this week its partners at the USMS arrested Christopher Wade in Fort McCoy.

Wade was a recent “Wanted of the Week” suspect on CCSO’s Facebook.

Deputies from CCSO say Wade was wanted for violation of probation, including two counts of battery on a person 65 or older and two counts of carrying a concealed firearm.

According to booking sites, Wade has been arrested multiple times in the past, including charges for unlawful possession of a firearm back in October of 2021.

He was most recently charged with aggravated battery and booked into jail on June 4.
