Troopers need help finding the driver who hit and killed a pedestrian on I-75 Sunday in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is hoping someone can provide information that will help them solve a deadly hit-and-run accident.

Troopers say someone hit and killed a pedestrian walking along Interstate 75 on Sunday, Nov. 12, just before 5 a.m.

FHP says it happened on northbound I-75 near mile marker 342 in Marion Oaks.

Troopers say the man was in the right lane of the interstate and hit by a vehicle. They say the driver left the scene.

Authorities identified the pedestrian as a 41-year-old man from Clearwater.
