TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Road Closures Planned for I-75 SB at CR 320 Starting Thursday

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will temporarily close the County Road (C.R.) 320 bridge over Interstate 75 (I-75) near Micanopy, Marion County, for repairs. The C.R. 320 bridge at I-75 will be continuously closed, beginning as early as 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, until bridge repairs are completed in the week of February 8.

These bridge repairs will also require overnight closures of I-75 southbound at the C.R. 320 bridge. These will occur nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27, and again the week of February 8. Details for the February closures will be shared once more information is available.

The following detours are outlined below:

C.R. 320 Bridge Continuous Closure Detour Information

To access C.R. 320 east of I-75:

  • Head south on C.R. 329, then turn left on NW 193 Street, then left again onto northbound U.S. 441. Continue north on U.S. 441 to access C.R. 320.

To access C.R. 320 west of I-75:

  • Head south on U.S. 441, then turn right on NW 193 Street, then right again to access C.R. 320.

I-75 Southbound Overnight Closures Detour Information

  • Motorists traveling southbound on I-75 will be directed to take exit 374 to C.R. 234.
  • Motorists can turn either left or right onto C.R. 234 to return to I-75 southbound.
  • If turning left onto C.R. 234, motorists should then turn right onto U.S. 441, turn right onto C.R. 318, and follow signage to return to I-75.
  • If turning right onto C.R. 234, motorists should continue on C.R. 234, which eventually turns into C.R. 329. From southbound C.R. 329, turn left onto C.R. 318, and then follow signage to return to I-75.

FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs, stay alert, and use caution. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
