Second teen sentenced in brutal Ocklawaha triple murder case

OCALA, FL (352today.com) — The second of three teens charged in the 2023 Ocklawaha triple murder was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday morning.

Tahj Brewton received a life sentence for the murders of Layla Silvernail, Camille Quaroles, and Michael Hodo Jr. Because he was 16 at the time, he will be eligible for parole after 25 years.

Brewton’s other sentences for robbery and carjacking will run concurrently.

The final defendant, Robert Robinson, is set to be sentenced today.
