Ocala, FL (352today.com) — Picking up the Pieces will host its annual Overdose Awareness Event on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at Compassion United Methodist Church in Ocala, honoring lives lost to the addiction epidemic, supporting families, and raising awareness for prevention and recovery.
The day will begin with a Memorial Ride organized by The Punishers LEMC Fort King Chapter:

Attendees can expect:
Inspiring speakers sharing stories of loss, hope, and recovery. Vendors and resource tables with local support services. Activities for children so families can attend together. A united moment of remembrance for those gone too soon.
The event coincides with International Overdose Awareness Day, a global initiative to end overdose, remove stigma, and acknowledge the grief felt by families and friends.
