Firefighters responded to the 2600 block of Northwest First Avenue after a porch fire spread to the side of the home, causing damage to the home’s attic.

OFR and Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) also had to establish a landing zone for a helicopter from HCA Florida West Marion Hospital for a medical transport.
